Change of Plans: My Journey to Iceland, Seattle, and Beyond 🌍
As usual, nothing I plan goes exactly as expected—surprising, right? 😅 Originally, I had my sights set on September in Edmonton, but life had other ideas. My good friend Rikey in Iceland suggested that I delay my travels until October, and who am I to say no? So, on October 4th, I'll be embarking on an exciting journey to Iceland!
I'm thrilled to be spending the weekend with one of my most cherished JCI friends. It's my first time visiting Iceland, and I can't wait to explore this incredible country and its stunning landscapes.
But the adventure doesn't stop there! On October 7th, I'll be boarding an Icelandair flight to Seattle. Thanks to a great deal on a one-way ticket, I'll have the chance to explore Seattle for a few days before heading north to Vancouver, Canada.
As a proud JCI senator, I shared my travel plans in the JCI Traveling Senators group on Facebook, and the response has been amazing. Blair, among others, has reached out with offers of hospitality and guidance, which makes me even more excited about the journey ahead.
Meanwhile, back home, there's still plenty of work to be done on my house. I’m eagerly awaiting the day when it’s all finished, so I can start planning how and when to rent it out. While there’s still a lot to do, I’m relieved that most of the heavy lifting is behind me.
Stay tuned for updates as I continue this incredible journey around the world! 🌍✈️
