Road Tripping Through Norway: Reconnecting with Friends, Festivals, and Biker Camps 🛣️

I absolutely love driving, and whenever I have the time I really do enjoy to go and meet up with friends all over Norway. (And abroad) Some of my friends also has claimed that I am one of few that actually tried to stay in contact, and dont care if it is 20 years ago or 3 days ago since last time.

First stop for me this vacation was to go to Malakoff, Nordfjordeid. I had been wanting to go to Kaizer Orchestras concert and just packed up and left. My oldest daugther watched Dennis, since he was not allowed into the camp. I arrived around 18, and was denied at the gate. Someone had not read what was in tiny print.... Only tents were allowed at the festival camp and I must have been looking really lost when I pulled up by some bikers.

So even with no sense of direction these guys just showed me way to their camp site. 5 minutes away from the festival, got a spechil price on the wagon since I was first there :D

If you are a biker, go check out "Old Nicks MC" in Nordfjordeid. Awsome guys! Since I just went there on my own I just chilled a bit before I went up. I really liked the festival area. It is in a park, so a lot of trees, gras, the layout was awsome and the weather was too nice. So freakin hot. And as I stand there, just people watching a bearded guy with sunglases,

removes his glases and says my name, and lucky for him I also recognized him. I mean after over 20 years apart we had some catching up to do. So we did not listen to "Panda panda" so that I need to check out some other time.

Trip continued, on sunday, back to get Dennis without the wagon. And continued to Sogndal, Balestrand, Dale, Tusvik, Høyanger and Bergen.

Friends and family from all over the west coast of Norway finally met up again. Some of them I haven’t seen for a year and others 4 years or even more. It was an absolute blast to see all of them again.
